Clear terms for free personal use.

Styrvia Personal is free for your own non-commercial use. The browser version keeps the working financial plan and calculations on your device during normal use. Results still depend on your inputs, assumptions, reference data and uncertain future events.

Styrvia Personal-use terms

1. Provider

Styrvia Personal is provided by Styrvia, CVR 46690397, Denmark (“Styrvia”). Contact: [email protected].

2. Styrvia Personal licence

Styrvia Personal is free for your own non-commercial use. The licence is personal and non-transferable. The browser version lets you use Styrvia through the official service, but does not give you the right to copy, redistribute, publish, sublicense or white-label the application code. If Styrvia also provides an official standalone copy, you may keep that released copy and your own backups for personal use but may not provide the software to others. You may share your own Styrvia plan file or result with someone you choose; anyone using Styrvia to work with it needs a licence appropriate to their use.

3. Modelling, not advice

You choose the facts, assumptions and alternatives. Styrvia calculates and visualises modelled consequences. It does not determine suitability or instruct you to buy, sell, hold, rebalance, contribute, repay or otherwise transact. You remain responsible for decisions and for obtaining regulated or specialist advice where needed.

4. Results and reference data

Outputs depend on your inputs, planning assumptions, model scope, reference data and uncertain future events. Market simulation and Past-market tests are illustrations, not forecasts, recommendations or guarantees. Reference data can be delayed, revised, incomplete or wrong and is planning context rather than an execution quote. Styrvia may publish reviewed reference-data updates during the year. Using newer reference data can change conversions, historical context or model outputs, but it does not replace the forward planning assumptions you entered.

5. Local data, backups and sharing

Financial calculations and the working household plan stay on your device during normal Personal use. The browser version stores the working plan in that browser profile rather than in a Styrvia account. Browser or device data can be cleared, corrupted or lost, so keep your own backup. Portable encrypted backups use a passphrase you choose; Styrvia does not receive, store or recover that passphrase. Plain plan files, reports and share images are separate from encrypted-backup protection and are only sent when you choose to send them. If support needs more than your first description, Styrvia may ask you to send a support file. Review it first and send only what is needed.

6. Updates and app operation

The browser version needs an internet connection the first time it loads on a device and to receive later app or reference-data updates. After Styrvia has loaded, core Personal use is designed to remain available offline, subject to browser and device compatibility. An app update must not silently replace an open working plan. If an update needs to change locally stored plan data and cannot finish safely, the previous plan state must remain recoverable. Normal app and update requests do not need household financial values. If Styrvia also provides an official standalone copy, that copy stays at its installed version until you obtain a newer one. Keep your own encrypted backup before material app, browser or device changes.

7. Intellectual property

The licence gives you a limited right to use Styrvia Personal through the official service and, where expressly offered, an official standalone copy. Ownership of Styrvia and its original software and materials is not transferred. Do not remove Styrvia branding, copyright or licence notices.

8. Responsibility and liability

Styrvia is a free planning and modelling tool. To the extent permitted by law, it does not promise that the service, software, local browser storage, reference data or outputs are error-free, continuously available, complete or suitable for a particular decision. You are responsible for your inputs, assumptions, backups and for checking material tax, legal, pension, benefit, financing and investment facts. Mandatory consumer rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

9. Voluntary support

Voluntary contributions are separate from the Personal licence and do not unlock features, services, commercial rights or preferential support. Payment-provider terms and charges may apply. Contact Styrvia promptly if you believe a payment was made in error.

10. Law

Danish law is the intended governing law, while consumers retain mandatory protections that cannot legally be excluded. You may stop using Styrvia Personal at any time and may clear Styrvia data from your browser/device and delete any plan or backup copies you hold.

11. Changes to these Terms

Styrvia may update these Terms when the product, law or operating model changes. The version and date identify the Terms accepted. A material change does not silently rewrite an earlier acceptance; fresh acceptance will be requested where required.

12. Professional and commercial use

Professional, client-facing and other commercial use is outside the Personal licence and requires separate permission. Separate Professional terms will apply to commercial use.

13. Licence and Terms records

Styrvia Personal does not require an account. The app may keep a local record of the Terms version, app release, acceptance time and a verification code for the Terms text. That record is not identity verification and is not sent to Styrvia during normal modelling. If you previously received a Personal copy through the website, Styrvia may still hold the registration email, accepted Terms version, release version and acceptance time for that copy. Marketing and release emails require a separate opt-in. See the Privacy Notice for website, app-delivery and mailing-list records.
